Blue vs purple

Hey girls,
I realized I am kind of more and more obssessed with my nails...
I just got a new bottle of polish from a never heard brand in a clothing store named MIM.

Here I tried to stamp purple on this very shiny blue coat.
I tried to apply a mat top coat on the blue before stamping but I t was still very shiny .
So unfortunately you cannot see any contrast between both
I think next time I will apply this bleu nail polish without any fantasy; it does not need to.
What do you think ?
